Your "sacred geometries" remind me of Blakes "fearful symmetry" in one of my favorite poems: my two favorite quatrains:

"TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

...When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee?...."

Ha ha- thanks for calling out my reference from which I could not even remember the source.

I am searching high and low for Antennaria hilbersonii, but there doesn't appear to be such a published Antennaria species. In fact, when I do an IPNI plant name search for any plant genus with a species named "hilbersonii", I don't get one hit, so I think there might be a typo in that name.

Mark;
Thank you for pointing that out- indeed, a mistake. The picture is A. aromatica. "Antennaria hilbersonii" came from my vague memory- and it, as you point out, is apparently invalid, but it has circulated in seed lists as something from Nevada. Perhaps it is a very old or local illegitimate name?

Are you a pussytoes fanatic/collector/aficionado?
