Thanks for sharing this! Do you think bare-root planting is also worthwhile for less xeric environments? (SW Colorado ~8700 feet elevation) Seems like it would still confer benefits in establishment even where moisture is less of a limiting factor?
Absolutely! the more difference in texture from the potting mix to the soil the more relevant bare-rooting is...
